About 2017 Ford Taurus
The Taurus sedan features a standard 3.5-liter V6 and available 2.0-liter EcoBoost I-4 engine. Taurus SHO comes standard with 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. All models use a six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift. Paddle shifters come standard with Taurus SHO. All-wheel drive is standard for Taurus SHO, and available on SEL and Limited series trim levels.
The 2.0-liter EcoBoost produces 240 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 -- standard equipment in the high-performance Taurus SHO -- is Ford's most powerful EcoBoost offering, delivering 365 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque.
New for 2017 for the Ford Taurus are a premium sound from Sony with Clear Phase and Live Acoustics technologies. It's standard for Taurus Limited and Taurus SHO.
